Last Friday, students from St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Academy in Greenpoint took parents and friends on a tour of the world.

At the school’s 10th annual International Night, students from pre-k to 8th grade showcased global learning and talent.

The night began with preschoolers dancing to the tunes of Brazilian Samba and Arabian Nights.

Each class then presented facts and cultural highlights about different countries around the world, from Greece, Italy and Australia to Cuba, Taiwan, the Dominican Republic and India.

Other highlights from International Night included first graders dancing the Tarantella, sixth graders showing off their best Bollywood moves, and eighth graders performing a bittersweet goodbye song to St. Stan’s.

To finish it all off, students came together to sing a heartwarming rendition of “What a Wonderful World.”
