5 rooms, two bedroom modern apartment with wood floors on Manhattan Avenue asking $2,700 Rent.
In seven days(7) days the apartment was shown 8 times.
Many looked, liked and said they will be seeing other apartments and get back to the broker.
Results after 7 days, apartment was rented, and lease signing is today 24 hours later.
Tenants have no idea how much competition they are up against.
Some shop and are not prepared with documentation or the financial monies needed which is usually 3 x's the rent.


WHEN BROKER ANSWERS QUESTIONS BY PROSPECTIVE TENANTS, WHEN ASKED IF OTHERS ARE INTERESTED IN THIS APARTMENT, AND HE SAYS YES THEY TAKE IT LIGHTLY AND THINK THE APARTMENT MAY BE AROUND THE NEXT FEW WEEKS. BUT NO SO.
THEY ALSO FEEL THE BROKER IS PRESSURING THEM BY SAYING THOSE THINGS.
BUT IF YOU HAVE A CAT, A DOG, A MODERN APARTMENT WHERE AN OWNER WILL ACCEPT YOUR PETS YOU ARE FORTUNATE.
GOOD APARTMENTS DO NOT LAST.

YOU MUST BE PREPARED WITH YOUR PAPERWORK AND HAVE YOUR MONEY AT HAND WHEN LOOKING OTHERWISE DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO VIEW THE APARTMENT.
